a healing technique based on the principle that the therapist can channel energy into the patient by means of touch, to activate the natural healing processes of the patient's body and restore physical and emotional well-being.

Ki is simply the Japanese word for the Energy. The basic energy that flows through LIFE.  This Life Energy is more well known via the Chinese word Chi or Qi as in Qi Gong or Tai Chai. 

Reiki is a Japanese word that has many meanings and one of those meanings is Soul Energy or Universal Energy or Spiritual Energy. 

Reiki is the energy that binds all living things together. All of matter, as Physicist have known, is created out of energy. Some energy is subtle, unable to be measured, and some is dense and measurable creating solid items. Our bodies are created of energy and energy flows through our bodies and determines our health.

Usui Method of Natural Healing is a ReiKi healing practice created and taught by Mikao Usui in the early 1920’s in Japan is first and foremost a wonderful path for self-healing and personal & spiritual growth especially when taught within its traditional Japanese perspective.

Traditional Usui Reiki Method also known as Traditional Japanese Reiki is an energetic practice utilizing both hands on techniques as well as various energy meditations that assists one in bringing peace, calm and healing to ones personal energy, body and mind. It is also a method of hands on healing used to help other people besides one self.

Reiki People or Reiki Practitioners of all traditions, Western and Japanese Reiki schools or lineages use their skills in such settings as Hospice care, Hospitals and well known cancer treatment centers across the USA. 

In 2007 there were at least 500 hospitals across the nation that offered both Western Reiki and Japanese Reiki practitioners to help their patients before and after various treatments and surgeries.

Traditional Japanese Reiki is also a wonderful path not only for bringing peace, balance and harmony to mind, body and spirit it is also a wonderful path for spiritual and self growth.

Tamu Ngina is a Reiki Master Teacher since 2007. She originally trained and apprenticed in Western Reiki with Paula Michal-Johnson of In the Heart of Reiki and later in 2008 trained in traditional Japanese Reiki and Gendai Reiki with Rev. Robin LittleFeather Hannon of Abiding Reiki as well as the late Don Beckett of REIKI: The True Story
